Site Reliability Engineer

Summary

Doxel AI is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to focus on the reliability, availability, and performance of their systems and processes. The role involves reducing service disruptions, building system visibility, optimizing incident response, automating manual processes, collaborating with the Product Engineering team, and bringing a holistic approach to system reliability. The base pay range is $160,000 - $200,000.

Requirements

• 5+ years with experience in Python (preferred) or another FP Language
• 5+ years of experience working in a full stack or back end focused engineering role within an agile, cloud based environment
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Airflow
• Experience with GCS (preferred) or AWS
• Experience with SQL and deep database knowledge
• Experience with automating manual processes
• Experience with DataDog or similar monitoring tools
• Experience developing processes with people and systems and fostering adoption of those processes
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline

Responsibilities

• Build clear visibility into system performance and reliability to help identify issues before they get out of control
• Optimize incident response processes to ensure minimal downtime for our customers
• Build and optimize infrastructure to ensure system reliability and efficiency, allowing us to serve an increasingly large number of customers
• Automate manual processes wherever possible to help create additional bandwidth for the Product Engineering team
• Collaborate closely with the Product Engineering team to help drive best practices and be a champion for system reliability
