Site Reliability Engineering Manager

Summary

Join Klaviyo, a company that empowers creators to own their destiny, as a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Manager. The SRE Security team provides engineers with secure-by-default frameworks and services, allowing them to focus on writing customer-facing feature code. As an SRE Manager, you will manage 4-6 Site Reliability Engineers, help individuals develop SMART goals, interview and hire new team members, participate in system design discussions, and level up the team through hands-on coaching.

Requirements

• Successfully led and delivered security infrastructure projects spanning multiple quarters
• Experience coaching and growing Site Reliability Engineers
• Experience developing and rolling out engineering-wide processes

Responsibilities

• Manage 4-6 Site Reliability Engineers
• Help individuals develop and execute SMART goals and personal development plans
• Interview, hire, and level up the SRE Security engineering team
• Work with the team on project planning and defining milestones
• Participate in deep system design and implementation discussions
• Level up the team through hands-on coaching and individual contribution
• Iterate and improve upon engineering-wide processes
