Requirements

  • Be an MBA from a Top Tier B school with 5-7 years of significant experience in management consulting
  • Have been a part of the CEO's/founder's office and have experience in planning and executing corporate strategy
  • Have experience working in a tech small business
  • Have experience with Sam.Gov for navigating through opportunities and applying with Proposals on Contracts
  • Be technology savvy with the latest AI tools
  • Have proven experience in driving strategies for growth and expansion
  • Have travel flexibility to join meetings in person and may require travel
  • Have flexibility with working hours to work in overlap timezone with India
  • Be a Quick Thinker & Problem Solver with the ability to think on your feet, navigate complex contracts, and overcome objections with creative solutions
  • Be a Relationship Builder with strong interpersonal skills with a knack for building trust-based relationships with government stakeholders and internal teams
  • Possess Negotiation Skills and be proficient in contract negotiation and closing deals, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory frameworks
  • Be Self-Motivated & Outcome-Driven with a passion for driving results with minimal supervision, taking ownership of the sales process from lead generation to contract closure
  • Possess excellent verbal and written Communication skills, capable of presenting to C-level executives and government officials
  • Have Technical Proficiency and familiarity to use latest technology and tools related to AI/ML, CRM and other platforms
  • Have Industry Familiarity and a deep understanding of the processes, regulations, and unique requirements of the public sector in Tennessee and beyond

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic initiatives for the organization in line with the gaps identified through strong process & governance
  • Lead proposal development for new opportunities in government and commercial sector with different functional leads
  • Lead creation of investor decks for founders
  • Collaborate with Functional leaders and teams to implement and institutionalize change
  • Manage corporate dashboards and analytics
  • Work on the organizational strategic levers along with the CEO for improvement & tracking
  • Improve current processes and develop procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity
  • Build effectiveness and efficiency within the organization
  • Providing all necessary support for seamless execution of projects in their scale up journey

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience with Finance and Marketing
  • Have past experience working with government agencies as an employee or consultant
  • Have experience working within the IT software, defense, or infrastructure sectors is a plus, with the ability to leverage industry-specific knowledge in closing deals
