Requirements

  • Located and authorized to work in the UK or CAN
  • Professional fluency in English
  • Demonstrated alignment with Gloriousโ€™ core values: taking ownership, working collaboratively, showing respect, being curious, and acting both quickly and decisively
  • Professional certifications and/or formal training/education in social media, community management, marketing, or other relevant fields
  • 4+ years of direct professional experience independently managing an organizationโ€™s social media and community presence across multiple platforms simultaneously
  • Demonstrated experience working both independently and cross-functionally to develop content and maintain a content calendar
  • Demonstrated experience using content, social media, and community channels to promote product releases/updates
  • Demonstrated experience following brand guidelines, communication standards, and established processes when publishing content, replies, or reposts from other creators

Responsibilities

  • Create comprehensive social media strategies and tactical plans to meet long term business goals, support product launches and raise awareness of Glorious on social media
  • Manage all owned social media accounts on a day-to-day basis, including but not limited to Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Twitch, Pinterest, YouTube
  • Develop strategies and tactics on how to activate influencers, esports teams, and brand partnerships
  • Conduct weekly analyses of social media performance metrics to refine strategies and optimize engagement
  • Generate reports for product launches; track and analyze social media metrics, campaign performance, and provide insights to improve performance in monthly reports that are provided to key stakeholders
  • Create engaging content in a timely manner to meet current trends in social media to keep Glorious relevant on all platforms
  • Collaborate with the paid media agency to document and boost selected social posts to support business needs
  • Interact with the Glorious community on a daily basis via comments and direct messages through Discord and Reddit
  • Work cross-collaboratively with our Customer Service team to ensure that customers' issues are resolved when posted on social media in a timely manner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience with social media scheduling tools including Hootsuite, Sprout Social, and Buffer
  • Demonstrated understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and how it impacts social media content
  • Experience with project management tools like Asana
  • Graphic design skills or experience creating simple images for social media platforms
