Requirements

  • Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, market trends, and customer needs
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute creative strategies that drive measurable results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms
  • Proven success in growing and engaging online communities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to new challenges
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives

Responsibilities

  • Craft engaging, witty short-form content for social media, newsletter, emails, web pages, talk abstracts, and ads
  • Develop and implement content across various platforms, maintaining a consistent brand voice
  • Manage Dagster's presence on LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit, Slack, and YouTube, including content scheduling and community engagement
  • Drive employee advocacy and help leadership team build thought leadership in the data engineering space
  • Engage with the data engineering community and collaborate with industry influencers
  • Analyze social media and community metrics, providing insights to refine strategies
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to align community efforts with overall business goals

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with open-source software communities is a plus
