Summary

This opportunity is for a socially savvy individual interested in helping tell Sheltering Arms' brand story through digital media and social media management. This remote, two-month internship offers valuable experience and comes with a $500 stipend upon completion. The ideal candidate is energetic, full of ideas, has excellent communication skills, strong computer proficiency, attention to detail, knowledge of social media platforms, and bilingual Spanish skills are preferred.

Requirements

At least two years of college completed

Responsibilities

• Perform social marketing to promote events and activities on social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
• Assist with developing and managing the social media content calendar
• Respond to inquiries coming in from social media channels
• Prepare social media monitoring reports
• Assist with other marketing and communications tasks, as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Current college student pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field
• Graphic design and photo/video editing skills
