Summary

Join Vanta as our Social Media Lead and drive the strategy and execution of our organic social media presence. You will be the key driver of our earned social media strategy, increasing awareness of Vanta and our work. Reporting to the Head of Communications, this role is critical in amplifying Vanta’s brand voice and driving industry credibility. The ideal candidate is a social media pro with experience in creative social campaigns and corporate social media presence. While experience with SaaS companies is preferred, a strong portfolio in B2C or consumer social media is also applicable. Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in Social Media either in-house, agency or a combination of both
  • A keen understanding of what resonates on social media and the ability to navigate both the creative side of social and the critical corporate comms element, in partnership with our Communications team
  • A background in building B2B, SaaS and/or B2C brands’ social media presence across various platforms including LinkedIn, Reddit, Tiktok and more
  • Not be afraid to try new things! As social media platforms and content continue to evolve, we’re looking for someone who is passionate about iteration, experimentation and having a bias for action, with a finger on the pulse for what’s trending

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the execution of our earned social media strategy in partnership with internal stakeholders including corporate marketing, product marketing, customer marketing, sales and executives
  • Work closely with external PR agency partners to develop social media content and campaigns resonating with existing and new audiences with an eye towards leveraging video, influencers, trending topics and more
  • Grow and diversify our thought-leadership around topics of security, trust in an AI world, and the future of automation
  • Drive platform-specific plans targeting current and prospective customers where they are – from LinkedIn to Reddit and more
  • Support our leaders and internal subject matter experts (SMEs) in growing their social media presence

Preferred Qualifications

While some experience in building social media presence for SaaS companies is preferred, a clear portfolio of experience in B2C or consumer social media is applicable as well
