Requirements

• Bring at least 5 years of professional experience as a developer (m/w/d) with Java and Spring Boot
• Have good knowledge of modern development methods (e.g., Scrum or Kanban, DevOps, XP), as well as CI/CD, ideally Cloud Native
• Be proficient with databases such as PostgreSQL, ideally Oracle DB, and JPA
• Have experience with RESTful APIs with build processes (GitLab, Maven and Gradle or similar)
• Be comfortable with Docker and Kubernetes
• Have initial experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka), and frontend technologies (REACT, TypeScript)
• Continuously develop yourself and bring the motivation to learn new technologies
• Have good English and German language skills for good communication within your team

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and maintain high-quality web applications and web services, including their features
• Configure and integrate everything into our platform, always taking into account our quality standards and specifications for data protection, security, and architecture
• Organize work packages independently using modern agile methods and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, etc
• Actively shape your working environment by participating in internal and cross-team events, and contribute to chapter work or research, for example
• Evaluate and document new libraries, technologies, tools, and methods

Preferred Qualifications

Have initial experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka), and frontend technologies (REACT, TypeScript)
