Software Development Engineer in Test

Summary

The job is for an SDET within IOHK's Catalyst Tribe, focusing on ensuring the quality and reliability of software in the Cardano blockchain ecosystem. The role involves collaboration, bug identification, user experience improvement, and staying updated with new testing tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing or a related field
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, JavaScript, or other programming languages
• Experience with automation testing frameworks and tools for both frontend and backend components (Playwright, Cypress, Postman, Appium)
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of developers, designers, and product managers to test software functionalities
• Identify bugs and improve the overall user experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with blockchain technology and the Cardano ecosystem is desirable
