Software Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Site Reliability Engineering role at Celonis, a fast-growing SaaS firm specializing in Process Mining technology. The candidate will focus on SRE & Software Engineering, improving the product's availability, scalability, and efficiency, and implementing SLOs. Remote work is allowed outside of NYC or Raleigh, NC offices.

Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering) or a comparable education
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Project experience in the SRE domain
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Programming with Java, the Spring framework, and Python (or a similar scripting language in Linux environment)

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and deliver software to improve the product's availability, scalability, and efficiency
• Improve monitoring, metrics, and KPIs as well as define and implement missing SLOs where appropriate
• Embrace blameless lessons and from these implement processes and automations to ensure prevention of problem recurrence
• Follow up and document all the acquired knowledge, whilst sharing it among all teams
