Software Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Software Engineer focused on developing and maintaining the rollup stack offerings at Conduit, a company building a rollup-native cloud platform to scale Ethereum. The role involves working closely with the CEO, contributing to product strategy, and requires a strong background in distributed systems, cryptography, and network protocols.

Requirements

• Strong background in distributed systems, cryptography, and network protocols
• Experience hacking on the various rollups, understanding the underlying components, and having opinions about the various trade-offs of those components and platforms
• Experience with hacking on EVM node software
• Deep understanding of the EVM and how external tooling integrates with it
• Familiarity with multiple programming languages, including but not limited to Golang, Rust, and Solidity

Responsibilities

• Develop custom precompiles and whitelisted contract deployers that create entirely new or more efficient functionality
• Help expand support for emerging L2s
