Software Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Software Engineer at Foodsmart who will drive the technical aspects of data integration between the platform and health systems' EHR systems, particularly Epic. The role involves working with APIs, API documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop a plan for seamless integration and data flow.

Requirements

• Willing to do whatever it takes to make your product and team successful, no matter how big or small the issue may be
• Collaborative with cross-functional teams on client calls as the Epic/EHR subject matter expert
• Able to multitask across several projects at once
• 5+ years experience in a software engineering role
• Demonstrated track record in successfully managing EHR-related product integrations
• Expertise in managing end-to-end development and delivery of technical software products, from conception to successful launch, ensuring seamless execution throughout the product lifecycle

Responsibilities

• Integrating with EHR/EMR and other referral systems, particularly Epic
• Working with APIs and API documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or background in a technical or quantitative field preferred (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering)
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, enabling you to effectively communicate product vision, strategy, and results to both internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in the healthcare and EHR domains, particularly in the context of Epic, offering valuable insights to enhance the user experience and cater to customer needs effectively
• Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving alignment towards achieving shared objectives
