Software Engineer

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience developing software
• A degree in Computer Science
• Competency in working with relational databases
• Strong knowledge of building and using APIs at scale (REST, GraphQL)
• Experience with code as infrastructure or site reliability tooling
• Firmly grounded computer science and engineering fundamentals, including data structures, concurrency, architecture, and design patterns
• Strong communication and collaborative skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Work alongside other members of our development team to tackle hard, exciting, unsolved problems and build beautiful software
• Work in an extremely fast-paced environment and take on rewarding challenges and responsibilities
• Report to Matt Goodson (Tech Lead)
• Work on mission-critical features for our core SaaS and API platform
• Develop systems and integrations for internal and third-party sales channels
• Work to provide a great experience to businesses using the Partly platform
• Become an expert in the extremely complex and underserved auto parts domain

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automotive parts
• Experience with Node.js
• Experience integrating with sales channels such as Shopify, eBay
