Summary

The job is for a mid-level .NET Software Engineer at PrismHR, a SaaS company offering cloud-based payroll software and services. The role involves working within a shared service engineering team to assist with core applications, gathering requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and following best practices for code management. The position can be remote and is open to candidates in the Northeast, Midwest, and South.

Requirements

  • Experience in working on teams that have implemented Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and others
  • Strong experience with modern front-end development tools, such as HTML5, CSS3, JS, is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience with front-end JS component libraries, such as JQuery, Typescript, KnockoutJS, is required for this position
  • 3+ years of experience with the ASP.NET framework technology, including but not limited to, Webforms, MVC, .NET Core, and others
  • 3+ years of experience with C# and its use in OOP methodologies is required
  • 1-3 years of experience in full-stack development, including Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio, is required
  • Fluency in Visual Studio IDE is required
  • Strong knowledge of the implementation of REST and other API technologies is required
  • Some Experience in all things Microsoft Azure, including the API gateway, Azure SQL and Azure App Services

Responsibilities

  • Work within a shared service engineering team to assist with all core PrismHR software applications that power customer-facing businesses
  • Gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Work with the team lead to follow best practices for code management

Preferred Qualifications

Additional experience with Bootstrap, Kendo, Telerik Reporting, and SQL Reporting Services are preferred but not required
