Summary

Join Skydropx, a company innovating logistics, and become a Ruby on Rails Developer. Collaborate with developers and the product team to design and create software services using modern architecture and methodologies. Requirements

  • Indispensable: Portuguese B2 or higher
  • +4 years of experience in software design and rack application development with Ruby and JavaScript
  • Experience creating microservices and consuming APIs
  • Solid knowledge and professional experience of software engineering and best practices for the full software development lifecycle (including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations)
  • Practical experience in writing and deploying large-scale distributed systems and high-quality client-server architectures
  • Able to effectively communicate technical ideas and collaborate with technical and non-technical peers

Responsibilities

  • Develop new features and improvements for our products and services in a secure and well-tested manner, following company guidelines
  • Write detailed technical documentation
  • Solve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity
  • Guarantee code style, maintainability, and best practices
  • Provide mentorship to Junior Engineers on your team to help them develop their technical skills and remove obstacles to their autonomy
  • Confidently launch moderate-sized features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with GCP
  • Experience working with Kafka and/or Pub/Sub
  • Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of common algorithms and data structures
