Summary

Join the Deployment Experience team at Vercel and contribute to building a great deployment experience for customers by default and composable options for more complex use cases.

Requirements

• Have 6+ years of software engineering experience, predominantly building and operating distributed systems at scale
• Experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript will help you hit the ground running
• Be experienced in mitigating an incident quickly, but also following it up with root cause analysis, identifying systemic solutions. and implementing them
• Break down big ideas into bite-sized steps and build incrementally
• Be able to put yourself in user’s shoes, and understand their pain points
• Communicate well
• Be located in either the US or Canada

Responsibilities

• Build web applications and web application build systems, focusing on the Vercel Dashboard
• Build distributed systems, focusing on the Deployment Pipeline and Git Integrations
• Write clear, tested, modifiable software
• Together, build software, review code, decide on architecture, and iterate on team processes
• Give feedback on the product, team, and team members!
• Opt-in to a voluntary On-Call rotation that is paid!
