Software Engineer - Developer Experience

Requirements

• Great alignment with our principles
• A strong interest in platform engineering and developer tooling
• Familiarity with Git and GitOps principles
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and the broader CNCF landscape
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitLab, and GitOps tools like ArgoCD
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Bash, or Node.js
• Experience in building scalable, distributed systems and working with production environments
• Alignment with engineering best practices, including clean code, design patterns, and architectural principles
• A self-driven attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the entire team to design and develop tools and platforms that improve the developer experience
• Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab) and GitOps workflows (e.g., ArgoCD)
• Drive platform improvements using Kubernetes and other CNCF technologies to increase scalability, reliability, and performance
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code in Go, Bash, Node.js, or other relevant languages
• Help ensure our systems run smoothly by addressing issues at the host and infrastructure levels
• Foster a culture of quality through peer reviews, monitoring, and adherence to on-call best practices
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver impactful features while maintaining a focus on the developer experience
