Software Engineer II

Summary

The job is for a Software Engineer II in Eventbrite's mobile engineering team in India. The role involves working on their mobile applications and contributing to the development of their event management tools. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience building iOS mobile applications, understands the iOS platform, and enjoys collaborating with technical and non-technical peers.

Requirements

• +2 years of experience building iOS mobile applications
• A deep understanding of the iOS platform, ecosystem and coding skills with Swift and SwiftUI

Responsibilities

Work directly with product management, product design, and other engineers to get a deep understanding of how our users explore our inventory, and build the systems to most effectively satisfy our users’ needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of coroutines and asynchronous code
• Knowledge of design patterns, mobile architectures and market software standards
• Experience with Jetpack Compose
• Active contributor to open source software
