Requirements

  • BS+ in Computer Science or a related field preferred
  • Proficiency with at least one high-level general-purpose language such as Python, Java, C#, Javascript, etc
  • 3-5 years of full stack development experience in the following areas: Expertise in at least one of the following languages: Python, Java, Javascript, node.js
  • Experience with one or more cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc)
  • Experience in codified infrastructure code like Terraform
  • Experience with advanced SQL skills and commonly used database engines (MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, DB2, etc.)
  • Expertise with common code repositories (GitHub, BitBuckets, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Experience with code reviews and participating in the PR process
  • Experience in container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience designing and implementing technical solutions
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment
  • Solutions oriented attitude with a willingness to take ownership
  • Proven communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist in both the design and architecture of high-quality software systems that are maintainable and scalable
  • Write clean code to develop high-functioning systems
  • Validate functionality of applications and implement automated tests to catch regressions
  • Review code and fix bugs
  • Collaborate with teammates and internal teams to improve products
  • Assist in mentoring junior members of the team to follow engineering best practices
