Software Engineer III

Summary

Join HackerOne as a Software Engineer IC3 and work with seniors, product managers, and designers to build delightful features and products for our community and thousands of companies. As a collaborative and effective software engineer, you will interact with CSMs, guide junior engineers, and identify technical weaknesses in codebases.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering, especially within a SAAS environment
• Preferably with experience in Ruby on Rails, ReactJS and TypeScript, generative AI, ElasticSearch / OpenSearch, GraphQL
• Proven positive impact in your past professional experience

Responsibilities

• Work with seniors of the team, and with Product Managers and Designers to build delightful features and products for our community, as well as the thousands of companies who trust HackerOne with their cybersecurity posture
• Interact with CSM’s, who are the voice of our customers
• Guide and coach the more junior IC’s
• Combine your technological expertise, domain knowledge, and an unquestionable dedication to business objectives as you intersect with the engineering organization
• Identify and make systematic improvements to technical weaknesses you’ll find in your squad’s codebases, and in shared codebases across the company
