Summary

The Software Engineer III – Payments role at Nextech is primarily responsible for designing and developing scalable and reliable payments solutions across the full suite of Nextech products. The ideal candidate has technical knowledge, analytical, and problem-solving skills in more than one area of development and is able to work collaboratively with teams and product owners. With a focus on payments expertise, the individual will integrate and optimize the payments system within healthcare platforms and third-party services, ensuring performance and security.

Requirements

• Acquired technical knowledge, analytical, and problem-solving skills in more than one area of development
• Collaborative, curious, creative, versatile, organized, intrinsically motivated individual
• 3-5 years of experience building scalable payments solutions
• Solid experience developing Angular 14+ applications
• Extensive experience with C# and .Net Framework
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and related web design tools
• Solid knowledge of SQL and experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing advanced queries
• Extensive experience with RESTful API design and implementation
• Minimum of 7+ years of industry experience
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience with the Microsoft tech stack

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable and reliable payments solutions across the full suite of Nextech products
• Work on the payments platform team and with product teams consisting of talented individuals
• Develop Full Stack Applications using C#, JavaScript, SQL, and Angular
• Embrace best practices in software development, including Code Reviews, Unit Tests, and CI/CD processes
• Perform code reviews within your team to maintain high standards and ensure the quality and reliability of the codebase
• Collaborate effectively with teams, scrum masters, and product owners
• Quickly translate ideas into actionable implementations
• Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas, provide feedback, and collaborate with team members
• Integrate and optimize the payments system within healthcare platforms and third-party services
