Software Engineer Intern

Summary

Join Addepar as a Data Science Intern and contribute to automating data extraction from unstructured documents using machine learning tools and processes. You will research methods to solve data extraction problems, collect and curate data sets for model training, test models using appropriate metrics, and build production-ready code. This internship offers mentorship from senior machine learning and software engineers, providing opportunities to learn the latest techniques in natural language processing, including large language models (LLMs), and best practices for the machine learning development cycle.

Requirements

• Interest or experience with using basic machine learning or data science principles
• Good knowledge of python and software engineering practices
• Interest or experience with natural language processing, named entity recognition (NER) and/or LLMs
• Collaborative and curious learner

• Contribute to machine learning models and backend deployment code
