Software Engineer

Summary

Join our innovation team as a Prototype Engineer and help shape the future of IOG products and technology. You will develop prototypes, models, and simulators, bridging engineering and research. Collaborate with architects, cryptographers, researchers, and engineers on innovation projects. Design and develop systems from initial concepts. Present solutions at team meetings and maintain ongoing communication on project status. This role requires proficiency in programming languages and a deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, blockchain technology, and experience in software development and prototyping.

Requirements

• Proficiency in various programming languages and functional paradigms
• Knowledge of the rust programming language
• Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and concurrency
• Knowledge of blockchain technology and its core concepts, such as consensus mechanisms, cryptography, and smart contracts
• Self motivating and self learner
• At least 3 years of experience in software development
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures
• Experience with blockchain technology is necessary
• Experience in remote work and collaboration across different time zones
• Experience in prototyping and developing ideas
