Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree OR 4+ Years of Military Experience OR Associate degree WITH 1 year of professional experience OR Completion of AFS-recognized bootcamp (Savvy, LaunchCode, AFS AIT) WITH 1 year of professional experience
• Demonstrate experience with multiple programming languages, modern frameworks, architectures, databases, and cloud platforms
• Have internship or academic experience with programming languages (Java, Perl, Python, Ruby)

Responsibilities

• Kick-start your career in our Software Engineering Boot Camp to learn the latest technical skills in object-oriented programming
• Experiment and be an early adopter of emerging technologies and next-generation IT
• Act as a detective, looking closely at software to make sure everything’s working to specification
• Apply application design and development across multiple technology areas
• Keep well-written records describing how software works, any special configurations and how to troubleshoot basic issues
• Work collaboratively with your teammates to implement technology solutions to support the US federal government
