Software Engineering for AI Solutions

Summary

Join Bosch and develop next-generation applications in GenAI, machine learning, and big data. Support the Bosch Digital Center of Excellence, helping customers realize use cases. Participate in customer projects, innovation, and portfolio development. Work in a dynamic environment, contributing to hands-on development tasks primarily in Python. This 12-month, part-time (10 hours/week) working student position offers flexible work arrangements, including remote work options within Germany. The position requires enrollment at a university and fluency in English.

Requirements

• Studies in the field of Computer Science or comparable
• Experience and Knowledge: in Python and in developing, testing, and launching software products in a corporate environment
• Personality and Working Practice: you embrace new ideas, stay motivated in challenges, work independently, and grasp the broader context while managing multiple projects effectively
• Mobile working within Germany
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Develop next-generation applications in the field of GenAI, machine learning and big data that help users at Bosch to explore and interact with information
• Support the Bosch Digital Center of Excellence "AI Technology Stack", where we help Bosch customers across all divisions to realize their use cases from PoCs to productive systems
• Drive the strategic portfolio development in innovation activities
• Support various customer projects
• Participate in innovation and portfolio development activities
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment
• Integrate in our development team as a regular team member with your own set of responsibilities, including taking over hands-on development tasks, mostly in Python

Preferred Qualifications

Very good in German is an advantage
