- Are skilled in system design and architecture, with experience guiding teams to balance short-term needs with long-term scalability
- Have strong people management skills, with experience mentoring engineers and fostering career growth
- Excel at cross-functional collaboration, aligning diverse teams to achieve shared goals
- Are comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving execution in a high-stakes, outcome-driven environment
- Have experience with metrics-driven development, such as building dashboards or tracking KPIs like first-pass yield or bug resolution SLAs
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of software engineers to achieve business outcomes
- Ensure the team delivers on the teamβs goals
- Guide the team to build robust architectures while avoiding premature over-investments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Hardware, Marketing, Design, Production) to align on priorities and unblock hurdles
- Foster engineer growth through coaching, feedback, and tailored development plans
