  • Have a proven track record of leading teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software systems in a fast-paced environment
  • Are skilled in system design and architecture, with experience guiding teams to balance short-term needs with long-term scalability
  • Have strong people management skills, with experience mentoring engineers and fostering career growth
  • Excel at cross-functional collaboration, aligning diverse teams to achieve shared goals
  • Are comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving execution in a high-stakes, outcome-driven environment
  • Have experience with metrics-driven development, such as building dashboards or tracking KPIs like first-pass yield or bug resolution SLAs

Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor a team of software engineers to achieve business outcomes
  • Ensure the team delivers on the team’s goals
  • Guide the team to build robust architectures while avoiding premature over-investments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Hardware, Marketing, Design, Production) to align on priorities and unblock hurdles
  • Foster engineer growth through coaching, feedback, and tailored development plans

Preferred Qualifications

Are familiar with robotics or hardware/software integration (preferred but not required)
