Software Testing Manager

Requirements

• Have 5+ years of experience managing both manual and automated testing
• Possess passion, curiosity, and focused interest in software testing
• Demonstrate a proven track record of strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Have a good comprehension of test automation principles and strategies, excellent knowledge of software testing methodologies and procedures
• Possess exceptional ability to negotiate stakeholder requirements and manage project demands
• Have experience with web test development
• Be analytical and detail-oriented with an ability to give constructive feedback to testers
• Have strong time management, task delegation, and prioritization capabilities
• Be committed to continuous professional learning in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, and technology domains
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation skills
• Have proven experience working with external clients
• Be someone who likes to have flexibility in their work hours and wants to work remotely
• Be confident in communicating openly and transparently with the client when necessary
• Be willing to step up and take the lead/initiative
• Have excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Work directly with one client to deliver tailored results
• Partner with client stakeholders to align and execute successful testing strategies
• Participate in daily scrum calls, sprint meetings, and release calls/meetings
• Speak confidently about holistic testing strategies, including manual and automation testing flows
• Ensure the quality of a Test Run by following Testlio's recommended approaches and client expectations
• Define the testing strategy for a single Run and the entire project
• Lead and coordinate Test Runs, including identifying scope, estimating effort, verifying the environment, preparing materials, building a team, triaging issues, supporting testers, and compiling reports
• Raise project and team-related risks, problems, and questions to stakeholders and take initiative to solve them
• Review and provide feedback on test plans and tests created by other testing managers
• Identify and solve technical challenges related to testing
• Proactively define priorities based on the work backlog
• Understand and work within project success and financial metrics
• Monitor project quality KPIs and take actions to improve them

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience with Android and/or iOS native mobile test development
• Have experience in Test Automation with a strong grasp of the feasibility of implementing automation solutions and the ability to articulate the strategic advantages of automated testing over manual methods. Practical experience with tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Playwright is a plus
• Have previous experience in Project Management
