Summary

Gorilla Logic is seeking dynamic and experienced Solution Architects for their Service Areas: Cloud Engineering, Digital Product Development, Data & AI, and Delivery Transformation. The individual contributor role will be based in Colombia, Costa Rica, or the United States and will report to the Service Area Lead within the Solution Engineering organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in relevant fields
  • Each Solution Architect should be an expert in more than one Service Line within their respective Service Area
  • Highest level of English proficiency, both verbal and written
  • Strong collaboration skills with sales, marketing, and delivery teams
  • Ability to earn credibility quickly with clients
  • Coaching and mentoring skills
  • Strong project management and risk management skills
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to client locations in the United States or Gorilla Logic offices in San Jose, Costa Rica or Medellin, Colombia as needed

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and requirements
  • Develop and maintain technology roadmaps that align with business goals and support future business needs
  • Design comprehensive, scalable, and efficient solution options for clients
  • Create compelling, persuasive narratives in a client-ready format to propose solution options to clients
  • Lead the development of critical software components and directly contribute code artifacts to client solutions, as needed
  • Lead technical resources to estimate the effort and time required to deliver proposed solutions
  • Provide detailed, written solution implementation plans to the Gorilla Logic delivery manager or account executive for the account
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams delivering proposed solutions
  • Establish and enforce technical standards and best practices for software development, platform engineering, and system integration
  • Conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Work with delivery managers to ensure solutions are delivered within budget constraints
  • Partner with Client Service Teams (CST) to support and sustain strategic account management, innovation investments, and periodic business reviews
  • Identify opportunities within existing client portfolios and communicate with your respective Service Area lead for pursuit and follow-up
  • Promote continuous improvement within Gorilla Logic client delivery teams
  • Conduct client discovery calls to tell the Gorilla Logic story and credentialize our capabilities
  • Partner with the Sales organization to provide technical leadership and a solutions-based approach for sales pursuits and proposals
  • Support the Service Area Lead in evolving the portfolio of capabilities and solutions
  • Participate as a member of the Solution Engineering Leadership Team (SELT), contributing to the strategic direction and key decisions for the Solution Engineering organization
  • Lead and contribute to internal initiatives and knowledge sharing to enhance Gorilla Logic’s technical capabilities and service offerings
  • Partner with talent acquisition to identify and prioritize required skills for job applicants
  • Conduct job interviews to assess analytical and technical skills
