Solution Architect

Summary

Join insightsoftware as a Solution Architect and contribute to the growth of our partner community. You will provide coaching and technical expertise to partners during the build phase of insightsoftware applications, ensuring successful implementation for our customers. This role requires experience in finance, a deep understanding of financial roles, and strong technical proficiency. You will collaborate with partners, customers, and internal teams to ensure optimal application performance and contribute to product development by sourcing, developing, and testing new features. This position offers the opportunity to become a Subject Matter Expert in relevant areas and involves up to 25% travel.

Requirements

• Willingness to travel up to 25%
• In-depth knowledge of accounting processes and financial planning & analysis
• Excellent technology skills related to product implementation
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Basic understanding of consolidations and planning functions/processes
• Ability to answer intermediate-level product questions on various functionalities

Responsibilities

• Coaching and Guidance: Support partners during the build phase, providing examples of artifacts and explaining their significance
• Technical Expertise: Offer architectural guidance and technical expertise during critical project milestones
• Communication: Regularly update insightsoftware Alliances, Sales, and Customer Success on personal and project status
• Collaboration: Work with Customers, Partners, and internal teams on Salesforce cases related to Application Design
• Performance Monitoring: Conduct Application Health Checks and Reviews to ensure optimal performance
• Product Development: Assist Product Teams in sourcing, developing, and testing new features and functionalities
• Resource Sharing: Facilitate the sharing of project templates to ensure Partner Project Readiness
• Continuous Learning: Commit to becoming a Subject Matter Expert in required areas

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CMA, CGA, CA), advanced degrees (MBA, MFA), or other relevant certifications
• Experience with EPM solutions such as SAP Outlooksoft BPC, SAP BOFC, HFM, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Essbase, IBM Cognos, or similar
