Solution Consultant

Summary

Join RainFocus, a leading software company, as a Solution Consultant and play a key role in driving post-sale client implementations. Collaborate with the Solution Architect to provide consulting on platform configuration, gather requirements, design and configure solutions, and train clients on the RainFocus toolset. As a thought leader, mentor and train peers, and contribute to building consulting skills within the team. This role requires expertise in the RainFocus platform, industry best practices, and strong communication skills. Success is measured by onboarding speed, client satisfaction, work quality, and adherence to deadlines. Requirements

• Software implementation experience (2-7+ years for Solution Consultants; 7+ years for Sr. Solution Consultants)
• SaaS solutions delivery through platform configuration, not custom development
• Experience implementing SaaS platforms for Enterprise level clients, including gathering and documenting complex requirements, configurations, and integrations
• Proven success in creating efficiencies through process design, including outlining and measuring adoption, both internal and client-facing
• Ability to think strategically to ensure solution supports business goals
• Proven track record in delivering innovative and creative solutions
• Ability to work independently, problem-solve, improvise
• Perform consistently under pressure
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
• Team players only
• Must be able to travel domestically or internationally up to 20%

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in RainFocus platform
• Train client admins on the RainFocus tools and processes as necessary
• Configure the RainFocus platform
• Work with clients to identify business requirements and workflows
• Facilitate holistic system design and architecture workshops
• Identify platform configuration requirements
• Identify and mitigate risks to achieve implementation success
• Follow best practices for implementing RainFocus products
• Consult with clients on new ideas and best practices
• Document requirements, solution designs and testing plans
• Provide regular updates on milestones and tasks to project managers
• Provide project managers with level of effort estimates
• Communicate issues and risks to project managers and leadership
• Leads solution project calls and demos with clients
• Balance priorities across multiple assignments
• Thoroughly track tasks and complete all assignments on time
• Contribute to implementation tools, processes and templates
