Solution Engineer

Summary
Join Esri's highly skilled team of solution engineers and help shape strategies for effective ArcGIS platform adoption. As a GIS (and potentially BIM) evangelist, you will identify and promote strategies to improve how businesses address customer challenges. You will work closely with a team to explore the merger of GIS and location support for AEC and Environmental Consulting workflows. Responsibilities include becoming a core member of an account team, selling and implementing Esri software and solutions, and becoming a subject matter expert in the Geodesign industry and Esri's platform. You will craft and propose solutions, define and deliver platform strategies, present technical demonstrations, and provide platform configuration guidance. Remote work is possible.
Requirements
- One (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained
- Applicants must also have demonstrated experience with the following: CAD; 3D Design; and BIM
- Bachelor’s Degree in GIS, Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, or a related field of study
Responsibilities
- Become a core member of an account team as you sell and implement Esri software and solutions
- Become a subject matter expert of the Geodesign industry as well as a technical expert of Esri’s complete platform
- Proactively craft and propose solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value to our customers by addressing the critical business challenges they face
- Define and deliver platform strategies to customers that align Esri’s platform with their business
- Present GIS technical demonstrations of proposed solutions to clients
- Understand how to design presentations for technical and non-technical customers within various organizations
- Provide platform configuration guidance and best practices
