Solutions Architect

Requirements

• 5+ years of work experience as a Solutions Architect
• Proficiency with network hardware (Cisco ccna, Juniper, etc.) and software
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, etc.)
• Experience with network monitoring tools and technologies
• Knowledge of security practices and tools such as firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure network architectures
• Implement and manage network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
• Ensure network performance through monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting
• Proactively maintain and administer the network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance
• Monitor network performance and availability and implement changes as needed
• Provide high-level technical support for network issues and collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex problems
• Implement and manage security measures to protect network integrity, confidentiality, and availability
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and changes
• Prepare reports on network performance, incidents, and projects for management review
• Work closely with other IT professionals, including systems administrators, security experts, and software developers, to ensure seamless integration of network services
• Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to explain network-related issues and solutions
