Summary

Join Databricks as an experienced pre-sales professional with a successful track record in helping large enterprises become more data-driven. Work with the Enterprise Account Executive to define and direct the technical strategy for major accounts, leading to wider adoption of ML & AI products. Leverage your expertise in value selling, technical account management, and technical leadership to maximize success. Collaborate with a team providing hands-on support, but maintain a strong technical understanding of ML & AI applications within high-tech and manufacturing. Lead clients on a transformational journey, helping them evaluate and adopt Databricks solutions. Build a movement of technical champions within accounts and provide mentorship to other team members.

Requirements

  • Proficiency at establishing virtual teams, and leading them to ultimate success within the account
  • Experience working very large (> $1m ARR), global accounts
  • Form relationships with executives and influencers
  • Present a convincing point-of-view to important decision-makers that leads them down a path of success
  • Technical in big data, data science and cloud
  • An ability in data-driven business transformation, and driving change with data
  • Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala or Java

Responsibilities

  • Work with multiple clients as the main technical voice for Databricks
  • Lead your customers on a transformational journey, helping them to evaluate and adopt Databricks as part of their strategy
  • Implement the technical strategy in the account, in close understanding of the strategy
  • Build a movement of technical champions within the account
  • Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions
  • Provide structured mentorship for other team members
  • Gain the respect of your peers based on your experience, insight, and contributions
