Summary

The job is for a Solutions Architect at Woflow, a fast-growing company that provides data infrastructure for brick and mortar commerce. The role involves partnering with the sales team to guide prospective customers through the pre-sales process, delivering tailored demos, developing integration plans, managing technical docs, and interacting with customers on a day-to-day basis.

Requirements

  • Ideally, you’d have: 5+ years experience working as a Solutions Architect or Product Manager launching clients and designing complex solutions for enterprise clients (e.g. technical integrations)
  • Experience delivering product demos and participating closely in the sales process
  • Top 10% technical skills, in order to speak with a high degree of technical credibility to represent the our products with stakeholders at every level of the org (from junior developers through to VPs)
  • Top 1% communication skills, in order to sell, present, align, and inspire across internal and external teams

Responsibilities

  • Be Woflow’s founding Solutions Architect
  • Join our Product org as the shared owner of the integration-related products and services (API, SDK, webhooks, data payloads, custom integrations)
  • Partner with Woflow’s GTM team on designing and executing on the ‘ideal’ customer journey
  • Own a major part of the customer acquisition process, delivering tailored demos and developing playbooks and other tools for executing successful, efficient pilots
  • Develop deep technical domain expertise in both the industry as well as Woflow’s solutions
  • Interact with customers on a day-to-day basis to understand their needs and design solutions to better serve these needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Startup experience, or track record of shipping products 0 → 1, characterized by unblocking technical issues in the field with customers
  • Previous experience in a strictly technical role (e.g. software engineer) is highly useful but not required
  • Hospitality or retail experience — at the end of the day, our customer’s customers are restaurants and retail stores, and understanding how their employees use software (from POS to inventory systems) is invaluable
