Summary
Join New Era Technology's Enterprise Software team as a Solutions Architect, focusing on designing and quoting Microsoft solutions for mid-market US customers. Collaborate closely with sales to develop and sell solutions. Responsibilities include building presentations, quotes, and proposals, staying updated on Microsoft technologies and industry trends, leading technical RFP/RFI responses, and providing solution demonstrations. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3-5 years of presales or technical consulting experience with Microsoft technologies are required. Microsoft certifications are highly desirable. The role requires strong knowledge of Microsoft M365, Azure, SharePoint, and server/desktop operating systems. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential. The position is remote with standard business hours and potential travel for client meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of experience in a presales or technical consulting role, with a focus on Microsoft and/or like technologies
- Have a strong knowledge of Microsoft M365 (e.g., Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, Power Platform), Azure services, and SharePoint solutions and pre-requisite requirements for deploying these platforms and services
- Have a strong knowledge for Microsoft Server and Desktop operating systems and requirements to quote new installs and upgrades
- Have a strong knowledge of Exchange Server and the requirements to quote new installs, upgrades, and migrations to M365
- Have the ability to properly price and scope both migrations and new configurations of M365 and associated products
- Demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Have and demonstrate a high level of proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and other office applications
- Have the ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English
Responsibilities
- Work closely with sales to help scope, develop and sell solutions to New Era customers
- Build presentations, quotes, scopes of work and proposals
- Remain current and updated on the latest Microsoft and like technologies, industry trends, and competitor offerings
- Participate and lead technical RFP/RFI responses
- Provide demonstrations of the solutions being proposed
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, M365 Enterprise Administrator Expert) are highly desirable
