Requirements

  • Proven track record of successful sales experience, with experience in financial solutions for the SMB market (3+ years)
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial solutions, and the challenges faced by SMBs and accounting firms
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to a diverse audience
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales management tools

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within the SMB and accounting firm sectors
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Conduct continuous market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs
  • Analyze market data to position our solutions and identify new opportunities for growth effectively
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with accounting firms, industry influencers, and relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborate with partners to drive mutual business opportunities and expand market reach
  • Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of our financial solutions, accounting software, and industry best practices
  • Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and value proposition of our solutions to prospective clients
  • Employ a consultative sales approach to understand customer challenges, business goals, and financial objectives
  • Develop and present tailored solutions that address specific client needs and deliver measurable results
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to closing and onboarding
  • Utilize CRM software and sales management tools to track progress, manage opportunities, and ensure a seamless and efficient process
  • Effectively manage and qualify inbound marketing leads generated through various channels
  • Prioritize leads based on engagement and potential, and convert them into qualified sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and client relations, to ensure alignment and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Share best practices and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
