Summary

Join our team as a Solutions Engineer at FMX, where you'll drive revenue growth by providing technical support to account executives and account managers during the sales process, and help determine innovative new solutions that add value to the product through problem-solving.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Engineering or a related field
  • Experience working in or knowledge of software development
  • Experience with building or industrial automation systems
  • Experience with integrating software packages
  • Exceptional attention to detail, task management, and organizational skills
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills
  • The ability to build relationships quickly
  • The ability to solve prospect and customer problems through active listening, getting to the root need, and aligning with FMX solutions where appropriate

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products and services to customers and prospective customers
  • Support Account Executives and Account Managers with technical demos involving unique workflows, third-party integrations, or other new challenges
  • Deliver concise demo notes and other intel to the Customer Success Team in an effort to streamline implementation
  • Partner with sales executives to plan and execute presentations for enterprise deals
  • Participate in events and on-site demonstrations for selected accounts (10-20% Travel)
  • Use innovative technology that can be demonstrated during the sales process to drive out additional problem-solving opportunities
  • Attend and contribute to sales meetings and customer success meetings
  • Develop trusted relationships with prospects, leveraging knowledge of their business requirements to understand the business needs of the organization
  • Attend and contribute to product development and strategy sessions
  • Collect and document competitive intelligence
  • Effectively communicate client and prospect needs to the product team for future product enhancements
  • Organize themes and trends stated by the prospects during the sales cycle and effectively communicate with the executive and product team
