Join ALTEN Mexico as a Special Accountant Analyst ADV and play a critical role in our financial operations. You will analyze financial data, ensure accounting principle compliance, and produce timely financial reports. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 5 years of experience, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include leading capitalization and amortization analysis, ledger tie-offs, and monthly accounting close processes. You will also support forecasting and budgeting. Preferred qualifications include an MBA or CPA, prior analyst experience, and automotive industry knowledge. Requirements
- Bachelor of Accounting, finance or similar
- 5 YOE
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to interact with/present to executive management and present a point-of-view with facts
- Strong attention to detail

- Investigate/analyze independently
- Propose solutions to management
- Manage multiple priorities/work-streams
- Minimum 5 years of core Finance or Accounting experience
- Ability to forecast, and report actuals through the monthly close process
- Superior navigation and comprehensive knowledge of PentaSAP
- Excellent knowledge or experience in HFM / Semplice (Sempcube)
- Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookup, etc.) and PowerPoint
Responsibilities
- Lead full analysis and accounting for Capitalization and Amortization by vehicle and segment
- Ledger and Subledger tie offs for Stellantis Legal Entity requirements; and Purchase Price Accounting
- Monthly alignment with Fixed Asset Accounting and R&D (dates to start - stop Capitalization and Amortization)
- Maintaining master database
- Accounting Close β Ledger Reviews, Journal Vouchers preparation, FP&A Assessments, Period to Period Variance explanations, Trend Analysis, Blackline Reconciliations, Briefing Book support, SOX Controls, along with quarterly audits (internal and external) Impairment testing
- Forecast/Budget/MTP β Support by Program Capitalization/Amortization calendarization, Regional Amortization Allocation, Management reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or CPA or equivalent
- Prior analyst experience
- Experience in maintaining SOX compliance
- Experience in the Automotive Industry is a plus
- Advanced English
