Financial Analyst

Summary

Join ALTEN Mexico, a leading engineering company, as a Special Accountant Analyst ADV and contribute to the company's financial operations. You will analyze financial data, ensure compliance with accounting principles, and provide accurate financial reports. This role involves leading the analysis and accounting for Capitalization and Amortization, maintaining a master database, and supporting the accounting close process. You will also be responsible for forecasting, budgeting, and providing management reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Accounting, finance or similar
• 5 YOE
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to interact with/present to executive management and present a point-of-view with facts

• Manage multiple priorities/work-streams
• Minimum 5 years of core Finance or Accounting experience, with the
• Ability to forecast, and report actuals through the monthly close process
• Superior navigation and comprehensive knowledge of PentaSAP
• Excellent knowledge or experience in HFM / Semplice (Sempcube)
• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookup, etc.) and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Lead full analysis and accounting for Capitalization and Amortization by vehicle and segment
• Ledger and Subledger tie offs for Stellantis Legal Entity requirements; and Purchase Price Accounting
• Monthly alignment with Fixed Asset Accounting and R&D (dates to start - stop Capitalization and Amortization)
• Maintaining master database
• Accounting Close – Ledger Reviews, Journal Vouchers preparation, FP&A Assessments, Period to Period Variance explanations, Trend Analysis, Blackline Reconciliations, Briefing Book support, SOX Controls, along with quarterly audits (internal and external) Impairment testing
• Forecast/Budget/MTP – Support by Program Capitalization/Amortization calendarization, Regional Amortization Allocation, Management reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or CPA or equivalent
• Prior analyst experience
• Experience in maintaining SOX compliance
• Experience in the Automotive Industry is a plus
• Advanced English
