Summary

Join Pepperstone's brand team as a Sponsorship Manager - Global and play a crucial role in driving local and global sponsorships. Develop and manage go-to-market strategies and activation plans for global sponsorships. Collaborate with regional marketing leads on local sponsorships and co-develop activation and marketing plans. Lead agency partners in content development and build strong relationships with various stakeholders. Coordinate sponsorship activities at events and ensure all sponsorship properties are activated across digital and social ecosystems. Monitor and evaluate sponsorship performance, providing regular reports to senior management. This is a very hands-on role requiring some travel.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in sponsorship related roles
  • Proven experience working with global rights holders in the sporting field, with a preference in the Formula One space
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and analytical skills
  • Experience in managing budgets and forecasting financials
  • Experience in granular campaign and ROI reporting
  • Proficient in social media and understanding the digital role of sponsorship content

Responsibilities

  • Define sponsorship campaign priorities and key performance indicators to measure the success and evaluate individual sponsorship initiatives and event performance
  • Development and management of go-to-market strategies and activation plans for Pepperstone’s global sponsorship, in accordance with the sponsorship calendar/tour of events across our key regions
  • Work with regional marketing leads on local sponsorships and co-develop activation and marketing plans in light of overarching global sponsorship strategy
  • Lead and be the primary contact for agency partners in the development of all content and social media required to deliver upon sponsorship assets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regional marketing leads, commercial heads, sales teams, partners, legal and compliance, sponsors and agency partners
  • Work closely with the Brand Manager to ensure all sponsorship activations and activities represent our brand in a premium way
  • Coordinate sponsorship activities at events, including logistics, branding opportunities, and on-site and digital activations
  • Ensure all sponsorship properties are brought to life tactically, in our digital and social ecosystems to help support acquisition targets
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all sponsors and ambassadors, for planning and regular WIP communications
  • Responsible for ensuring we are activating at every possible opportunity to get the most out of our contracted rights and benefits, and ensuring all elements in our agreements are being delivered upon
  • Collaborate with regional marketing teams to integrate sponsorships into marketing campaigns effectively, from social media, performance marketing, SEO, affiliates, direct deals and other
  • Work closely with the partners and sales team to deliver the best possible Pepperstone experience, at all events
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of all sponsorship initiatives, providing regular reports and insights post all events and activations to senior management on ROI and effectiveness of the activity
  • Very hands on role to ensure our sponsorships are fully activated, both on and off-site. Some travel to events will be required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the financial services space
  • Experience working in a regulated environment
