Join The Block's Sales Team as a Sponsorship Sales Representative and be responsible for closing media partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising deals with crypto-native and Web3 companies, as well as broader fintech and tech brands. You will work directly with the existing revenue team and own the full sales cycle, leveraging our strong industry network to expand your knowledge and build your personal brand. Requirements
- 2β5 years experience in media, advertising, or sponsorship sales
- Strong understanding of crypto, blockchain, and digital assets (you're at least crypto-curious, ideally crypto-native)
- Track record of building pipelines and consistently closing mid-sized sponsorship deals ($10Kβ$100K)
- Strong client relationship skills and a hunter mentality
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Own a pipeline of mid-market sponsorship and advertising opportunities
- Prospect, pitch, and close deals across display ads, podcasts, newsletters, events, and custom programs
- Build strong relationships with marketing leaders, growth teams, and brand managers across crypto and fintech
- Collaborate with our Media, Research, and Events teams to package sponsorship solutions that drive real value
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas
- Stay ahead of crypto market trends, key players, and marketing budgets shifts
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling across multiple media formats (display, audio, events, content syndication)
