Summary

The Senior Java Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications for the backup and recovery platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new features, ensuring software quality and reliability, and staying updated with industry trends. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 5+ years of Java development experience are required. Proficiency in asynchronous and synchronous API development, microservices architecture, Docker, and strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential. The stack includes Java, Quarkus Java Framework, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Rest APIs, GraphQL, Nomad, K8S, AWS Lambda, AWS Steps, and DynamoDB.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of Java development experience
• Proficiency in asynchronous and synchronous API development
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and Docker
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
