Summary

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or a business-related field is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of proven success in technical selling
  • Candidate must have hands-on technical experience in one or more of the following areas: Linux OS, data collection SW, ethernet and other buses (i.e. CAN/CAN-FD, FlexRay, etc) technologies, AUTOSAR (Classic and/or Adaptive), ADAS, Autonomous Driving, Connected Cars/Services or Telematics
  • Candidate must have experience working with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers
  • Candidate must have experience and knowledge about typical POC and SOP processes in the automotive and transportation industries

Responsibilities

  • Navigate complex automotive R&D organization
  • Develop technical sales strategy for major US-headquartered OEMs
  • Assist Business Development Managers to develop strategic sales plans
  • Develop local strategic relationships with eco-system partners (i.e. Tier 1 suppliers, etc.)
  • Establish and develop ‘technical trusted advisor’ relationships with customers
  • Coordinate all activities between different departments like Product Management, R&D Engineering, and Marketing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Rudimentary knowledge of automotive ethernet and its use cases is a plus
  • Rudimentary knowledge of automotive data and its use cases from data collection to data analytics is a plus
