Summary

Planet Technologies is seeking a Sr. Technical Solutions Architect to lead a team, determine and architect cloud-based solutions, and work directly with customers on executive-level projects. The role requires at least 10 years of IT experience, hands-on development experience with Power Platform, and excellent client-facing communication skills.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of total IT experience performing complex application development projects on the Microsoft stack working closely with cross-functional Team Members in Agile Development environment
• Experience implementing, supporting and enhancing custom applications using full stack custom development, C#, React, Angular, and SharePoint
• At least 5 years of hands-on development experience with Power Platform
• Hands-on experience architecting solutions that involve custom solutions
• Excellent client-facing written and oral communications skills
• Experience working in an Agile with Scrum environment

Responsibilities

• Assess technical feasibility of requirements, lead solution design, and oversee technical implementation of projects
• Develops understanding of functional and nonfunctional requirements
• Breaks down development into epics and user stories, and assigns to developers based on skills and requirements
• Lead the architectural design and development of end-to-end software solutions, encompassing both front-end and back-end technologies
• The Architect will be technical team lead for implementing, supporting and enhancing custom applications using full stack custom development, C#, Power Apps, React, Angular, and SharePoint
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to define project requirements and create technical roadmaps
• Design robust, scalable, and maintainable architecture that aligns with the organization's goals and industry best practices
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to ensure optimal performance and efficiency across the entire technology stack
• Provide technical guidance to development teams, offering design feedback, and ensuring adherence to architectural standards
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, troubleshooting complex issues and proposing solutions to maintain project timelines and quality
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in software development, evaluating their potential to enhance the organization's technical capabilities
