Summary

- Ability to understand the independent contractor relationship
- Bachelorβs degree or equivalent required
- This position requires 5% amount of travel. Travel may include travel by car, airplane or public transit methods. Travel may be outside the local area and/or overnight
Responsibilities
- Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, fixed assets, accruals and prepaid expenses
- Prepare various complex account analyses and reconciliations
- Assist with the month-end closing process, conduct research and make correction journal entries for account discrepancies, prepare closing journal entries, and post accrual entries
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial statements
- Maintain corporate rent schedules, facilitate new rent set up and prepare monthly rent payments for processing
- Facilitate research and resolution of operational inquiries
- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Up to 5 years of previous accounting related experience preferred
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred
- Proficient computer skills MS Word, Excel, Outlook and database software; must be able to toggle between multiple screens
- Prior experience with Great Plains and Concur preferred
- Available to work extra hours, weekends, and holidays preferred
