Summary

Join InductiveHealth, a market-leading SaaS solutions provider in public health, as their Staff Accountant. You will oversee daily accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be a key member of a small accounting team, handling general ledger reconciliations, account reconciliations, billing and payable processing, and financial statement preparation. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 3+ years of experience in financial management roles with relevant experience
  • SaaS experience
  • ERP experience (NetSuite highly preferred)
  • Understanding of revenue recognition for a SaaS organization
  • Thorough understanding of GAAP, particularly with technology-related requirements, and a strong background in non-routine and complex transactions

Responsibilities

  • Handle corporate accounting, including general ledger reconciliations, account reconciliations, and billing and payable processing
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP
  • Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and other necessary reporting documents
  • Direct the month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Assist with outside accounting firm for the preparation and filing of all tax returns
  • Collaborate with CFO in the formal development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
  • Actively participate in support of annual audits

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA or CPA candidate
  • Candidates based in EST or CST time zone
