Staff Accountant

Summary

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field, required
• Experience with international accounting standards
• At least five years of related experience required
• Experience with QuickBooks online
• Experience in Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliation
• Good understanding of GAAP
• Strong understanding of revenue accounting including deferred revenue

Responsibilities

• Oversee a variety of accounting functions
• Ensure accuracy and adherence to international accounting standards
• Manage other related financial activities
• Consolidate financial statements and records across multiple currencies
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Reconcile various general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
• Maintain accurate records of reconciliations and supporting documentation
• Reconcile bank accounts at least monthly, verify deposits, and address inquiries from banks
• Reconcile cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts
• Handle and/or verify all revenue related transactions
• Assist in the execution of special projects as assigned by management
• Conduct financial analysis and research to support project objectives
• Provide recommendations based on findings to improve financial processes and controls
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
