Summary
Join our Digital Product Engineering company as an exceptional Accountant to support global financial operations, reporting, and compliance within the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical sectors. Maintain accurate financial records across international entities, prepare GAAP- and IFRS-compliant financial statements, and manage AP, AR, general ledger, and intercompany reconciliations. Ensure compliance with SEC reporting and public company disclosure requirements, handle financial reporting for various regulatory bodies, and support audits while maintaining cGMP-aligned cost accounting. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, contribute to capital planning and investor reporting, and administer QuickBooks Enterprise Diamond. Drive process improvements and develop dashboards and reports.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA license or international equivalent (CA, CGA, ACCA)
- 5โ8 years of accounting experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or regulated industries
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and international accounting standards
- Proven confidentiality and discretion with sensitive financial data
- Experience with SEC/public company reporting and regulated audit environments
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently across time zones in a remote setup
- QuickBooks Enterprise Diamond (expert level)
- Microsoft 365 / Teams (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat Pro, InDesign; basic Photoshop/Illustrator)
- ERP systems: SAP, Oracle, NetSuite (or similar)
- Financial reporting software: Hyperion, Cognos (or similar)
- Knowledge of tax prep, audit, and database tools (SQL preferred)
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records across international entities
- Prepare GAAP- and IFRS-compliant monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage AP, AR, general ledger, and intercompany reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with SEC reporting and public company disclosure requirements
- Handle financial reporting for FDA, EMA, EFSA, and Health Canada
- Support audits and maintain cGMP-aligned cost accounting
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Contribute to capital planning, IP valuation, and investor reporting
- Administer QuickBooks Enterprise Diamond and support ERP integration
- Drive process improvements, system documentation, and dashboard/report development
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Masterโs in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Advanced CPA specializations (e.g., tax, audit, international accounting)
- CIA or CFE certification
- Experience in transfer pricing, IP accounting, or cost capitalization
- Exposure to venture capital or public company environments
- Six Sigma or Lean finance experience in manufacturing
