Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in GAAP-based accounting and financial reporting
  • Strong client communication skills and a passion for helping small businesses
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and/or Xero
  • Industry exposure in e-commerce, product-based businesses, technology, real estate, or professional services
  • Consulting experience with multiple clients or projects at once
  • Familiarity with cloud-based accounting systems and app integrations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (required)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate, accrual-basis financial statements
  • Perform detailed reconciliations for bank, credit card, merchant service, and loan accounts
  • Apply strong financial analysis to support data-driven decision-making
  • Manage multiple client onboarding projects across various industries
  • Follow structured project plans aligned with client needs and timelines
  • Deliver high-quality service that is both timely and within scope
  • Utilize cloud-based accounting platforms and integrated tools to streamline processes and drive results

Experience in public accounting or working in a remote, tech-forward environment
