Staff Growth Product Manager

Summary
Join PurposeMed as their Staff Growth Product Manager and lead the company-wide product-led growth strategy. Collaborate with Growth leaders in Expansion, Marketing, and New Services to drive exponential service growth. You will report to the Chief Growth Officer, balancing experimentation speed with patient empathy to maximize activation, retention, and lifetime value across digital care products. Accelerate activation and engagement by owning the activation funnel, optimizing patient value moments through A/B testing, and instrumenting funnel analytics. Develop and scale retention programs, measure customer health indicators, and contribute to the Voice of the Customer program. Collaborate on launching MVPs, productizing offerings, defining success metrics, and conducting post-launch reviews. Lead Product Growth initiatives, mentor team members, and represent Product Growth in leadership updates. This is a remote position open to candidates across Canada.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in product growth, product management, or lifecycle marketing for B2C or B2B2C digital products
- A proven track record of owning activation and retention metrics at scale and delivering double‑digit percentage improvements
- Hands-on expertise with product analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Preset, LaunchDarkly), experimentation frameworks, and SQL; comfortable building dashboards and financial models
- Deep understanding of A/B testing, cohort analysis, customer segmentation, and growth frameworks
- Demonstrated the ability to translate user insights and quantitative data into product bets that drive LTV/CAC uplift
- Strong project‑management and stakeholder‑influencing skills; able to inspire cross‑functional teams without formal authority
- Empathy for patients and clinicians and a commitment to delivering equitable, impactful healthcare
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to zoom from high‑level vision to detailed technical requirements
Responsibilities
- Accelerating activation and engagement:Owning the activation funnel from first signup through refill/repeat engagement, designing friction‑free, “aha!”‑driven experiencesIdentifying, optimizing, and accelerating patients’ moments of value via high‑tempo A/B and multivariate testingInstrumenting funnel analytics, establishing benchmarks, and communicating learnings that influence our roadmap and resourcing
- Understanding and retaining our patients based on their needs:Developing and scaling retention and churn‑prevention programs that protect and grow patient volumes and impactLeading ongoing measurement of retention, patient satisfaction, and other customer health indicators, sharing insights in weekly business performance meetingsContributing to PurposeMed’s Voice of the Customer (VoC) program—planning research, synthesising qualitative insights and advocating for patient‑centred product improvements
- Delivering fully productized solutions of value:Collaborating with the Expansion and New Services teams on shipping scrappy MVPs to validate the go-to-market and commercialization strategy for new offeringsPartnering with Design and Engineering following validation, to productize the offerings to deliver clear clinical and economic value, then iterating to scale adoption and revenueDefining success metrics for every new service launch; owning post‑launch retros and next‑step recommendations
- Being a key driver of growth and collaboration:Serving as the leader for all Product Growth initiatives—aligning with Expansion Growth, Marketing, New Services, Care, Data, and Engineering around shared OKRsCoaching and mentoring other members of the Growth team; championing a culture of hypothesis‑driven experimentation, radical candour, and continuous learningRepresenting Product Growth in growth leadership updates, translating complex data into concise, actionable narrativesCollaborating with Product and Technology leadership closely on practices and roadmap alignment of growth efforts in the context of wider change
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience launching new business lines or services in a high‑growth environment
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance frameworks (PHIPA, HIPAA, PIPEDA) and data‑privacy best practices
- Experience with CRM/marketing automation (Braze) and lifecycle workflows
- A strong understanding of subscription and usage‑based business models and monetisation levers
- Experience working in healthcare or another regulated industry
