Summary
Join Underdog, a rapidly growing sports gaming company, as a Product Manager, Growth. You'll work on innovative fantasy sports products, collaborating with the growth marketing team to optimize user experience. This role involves A/B testing, product strategy, and leading development teams. You'll be responsible for setting success metrics, tracking performance, and fostering cross-team collaboration. Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience
- A passionate player of fantasy sports, OSB products, or similar
- Launched countless A/B tests, switchback test, and explored new creative methods
- Experience with Amplitude, Segment, Braze, Branch, Appsflyer etc
- Demonstrated experience building growth/funnel products
- Experience leveraging both quantitative and qualitative information to proactively identify ways for your product to deliver on business goals/KPIβs
- An experimentation mindset centered around forming clear hypotheses and creating ways to quickly validate or invalidate new ideas
- An expert at transforming conflicting or ambiguous inputs from customers and stakeholders into clear and actionable plans
- Ability to create a culture of inclusion and empathy within your team, creating a safe space for open and honest communication
Responsibilities
- Work every day on a product you love!
- Work closely with the growth marketing team to build and optimize our games to build best-in-class experiences for our fantasy customers
- Work across all teams to level up their surfaces and testing practices
- Be a center of excellence for A/B testing and measurement
- Set product strategy, identify and introduce new growth and onboarding products, while ensuring that our existing games provide great end-to-end experiences for customers
- Lead stand-ups, grooming, planning, and retro sessions with your development team
- Set success metrics for new features/products and track metrics post launch to guide iterative improvements
- Play an active role in cross-team collaboration, creating new processes when necessary to more effectively stay aligned
- Ensure design & engineering are engaged stakeholders in all product initiatives. Proactively solicit their input for roadmap decisions & planning
- Maintain a thorough understanding of responsible gaming best practices
- Keep up to date with the latest developments in the fantasy product space and the competitive environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building fantasy growth products
- Experience with paid media and ad networks
- Experience working with communities to gather insights and feedback on fantasy products
- Experience working within a regulated industry
